I installed my Red Injen Intake today and it looks great! I am really happy with how it sounds and performs. Pictures of the install are on my site:

It was a great transaction and they had an awesome price, it came still factory sealed with everything included in great shape. I called them before hand to verify they had the red in stock as it seems not many places do and they were a pleasure to deal with, I recommend them to anyone looking for a place to buy an Intake, I am a California resident so I had to pay sales tax, but the standard ground shipping was super fast.

I kind of stopped taking pictures when it got to putting together the Injen parts, but I figured that was pretty straight forward.

I'll be writing up descriptions and what not so folks can use this to help put their own Injen in. I found the instructions to be okay, but the pictures were terrible, low resolution in B&W, made it real tought to see what some of them were talking about.

Thanks man... I went back and forth on the Injen or AEM and finally decided to go with the Injen, because of where the Auto AEM put the air filter and itjust doesn't rain that much here in the bay area, plus the Injen looks that much cooler, especially in red. Also seems folks really like the Injen around here, especially for me now that the Injen is CARB approved.

Not that many folks have the Red one and I thought it looked really good with the Red strut tower bar and the blue, trying to go for a Red and blue theme under the hood, will also probably paint my calipers red.

good job....where do you feel the HP gain? Low, Mid, or High end. Plus, do you know if there is a header available yet?

You can really feel it in the upper end of the power band, high 2000+ all though it feels like it's pulling better all the way through now.

On headers, there may be some available or some coming soon, I am not the expert there, although as a California resident when some do come out, my choices will be limited due to CARB restrictions.

jrodhotrod what was involved the relocation of the rad overflow container? Was it simple and does it have to sit at the same height as the original position in order to get an accurate reading.

Looks good. I bought my silver Injen from Adventon.com too. Only problem was poor communication (wouldn't reply to e-mails), but I was still happy with them overall.

It was very simple.

All you have to do is unbolt the metal bracket that it was attached to, and then just pull up on it to seperate it from the bracket. After that you use one of the stock nuts and bolts as described in the Injen intstructions and bolt it to the top of the radiator using the included bracket. it seems pretty secure and it was really easy to do. Now, it's a tad higher then it was before, how that affects the accuracy of it, I couldn't tell you.

I agree we need to have some sort of a meet in the bay area, especially for us Silicon Valley folks. I think I saw your car yesterday in Sunnyvale, on El Camino Real near In-N-Out. Noticed the Protegeclub.com stickers you had on the rear side window, but I was in the left turn lane a tad behind you in traffic.
