whether or not its WORTH it is REALLY up to you....between the two...you will probably get somewhere around 10 whp...on the average....maybe a little less...maybe more.....so the only person that can truely answer your question is YOU.
When it comes to our cars the bolt ons are going to only add minimal gains in the HP department.....the money adds up really fast....the only way you are going to add substantial HP and Torque gains is to go forced induction...ie. TURBO.

When I buy things, I use many factors to make my decision and one of those factors is the opinions of others who were faced with the same choice. I don't appreciate it when someone makes the obvious point that, "I am the only one who can make that decision." No ****.
Maybe I'm wrong. Feel free to correct me.

They want opinions from others who have made the decision to purchase or not purchase. The capital letters emphasizing YOUR LAME POINT are condecending and irritating.

HE wanted to know if it would add any HP to the ground...I TOLD HIM...and about how much....but whether or not HE wants to spend that much on that amount of hp is not MY call...its HIS....if you even paid attention to the sigs you will see that I not only bought and installed the Injen CAI but also a Bosal Cat-back exhaust.....I spent the bucks....do I like them...sure I do...and have recommended both parts to anyone who wants them specifically....but I didn't get them for their performance additions alone....there are other intakes out there that are cheeper that work as well...but in MY opinion none look as nice....
he wasn't being given a lecture on personal responsibility....he was given the information he requested...and the response that only HE can truely determine if it was worth it to HIM.

1. People should start using the search function before starting a new thread with old questions
2. You should stop reading the threads. People are always going to get these remarks because no matter what, it is their choice. Nobody wants to be responsible for someone else spending their $$$ on something they might not be happy with.
If I came on and asked "should I get a turbo, is it worth $3000?" No matter what people say, if I spend the $$, then I have no one to blame but myself if I don't like the results.

injen is worth it
I just installed an Injen intake and I feel that it was definitely worth it. Did I see any great gains in HP? No, but it did improve throttle response, it looks sweet, and sounds awesome. If you decide to get one buy from Speed Concept in Aloha, Or. I got mine for $180 out the door.

I have an injen cai also and I like it. I could definatly feel a differance and the sound is hot. It has a tight look also. The cheapest price I found for it is 240 at AutoCarParts.com.
