LOL!! Nice, Short, Sweet, and to the point.
You'll need $3500. Once you get that amount of money in hand then you can make your car "Fast". But like it says above. If you want it now without much mods buy a 6. Lest see Base price for a P5 is what 17? plus 3500 = 20,500. That should be $1,500 under what the 6s costs. Who knows maybe there will be a good rebate and you could be right on the money
And I know you can do some less expensive things to make it faster but it wont be "FAST" until you go turbo. Unless of course you go NX wet.

Stratus Coupe SXT
Starting @ $20,185**
2.4-liter I-4 engine 147 hp @ 5,500 rpm
Stratus Coupe R/T
Starting @ $22,680**
3.0-liter V6 engine 200 hp @ 5,500 rpm
Stratus Sedan SXT
Starting @ $18,670**
2.4-liter I-4 engine, 150 HP @ 5,500 RPM
Stratus Sedan SE/ES/RT
Starting @ $20,070**
2.7-liter V6 engine, 200 HP @ 5,800 RPM
Those are for the new cars, of course. I found a "Base Curb Weight - Automatic Trans-3245.00 lb" so they are not light by any means!
This is fun, can we find a different car to compare?

$3500 = 6psi of boost "if you bought it through flyin miata" which translates to 149hp and 173ftlbs of torque at the wheels. Thats almost 60 more HP to the wheels. It would be about 180 hp at the fly. get a 2 and a quarter in exahust and youll boost that to around 160hp and 190ftlbs of torque. which would be around 190 - 200 hp to the fly.
But your looking at about $5000. You may be able to piece together a kit far cheaper then this. But this is what you can get if you want an already assembled package.

spoolin's kits supposedly put you at around 160whp with just 4psi as well, I don't even think that is intercooled...But correct me if I am wrong, I do know that it can be upgraded to intercooled however..
Most stock FS-DE's dyno at 100whp so the flyin' Miata kit is about 50whp more than stock or so. If you can do a lot of internal engine work on your own, 50 whp probably wouln't need $3500, but these turbo's are the best bet for instant power without a lot of dicking around...
