wow, doesn't make sense does it?? Costs double what the wagner piece does and has no proven gains.
by the way, I've heard a lot of intrest in a header like this so I'm going to start a feeler thread about yet another GB to see if we can get some sold.

what's the website address to get more info on the wagner headers? I can't find it on any search engines.

The address is www.wagnermotorsports.net. There's a group buy for them if you go to the vendor section, we need 1 or 2 more people to make it a go.

roddimus you said shorty headers on a v-8 are more power then el headers right? well since my dad, uncle, both grandfathers, my best friends are all ASE certified and im gonna be certified i have to argue with that one. i have dynoed bothe shorty and el headers in the same day on the same dyno on the same motor (pretty much stock chevy 350) i can say that el headers make a lil more power i have acctually dynoed many headers on this same motor and always come up with the same result that el are better then shorty srry but i dont know

you mis-quoted me....go back and post EXACTLY what I said.

I said that EL headers make more power. However, LONG TUBE el headers cost me a lot of torque/power and that the shorty style is a better choice. A shorty-style EL header is optimum, but in the choise between a long-tube EL header and a shorty-header, I'll take the shorty header ANYDAY.

This should also be compared on the 2.0L motor since thats what I was refering to when I started this thread. The Wagner "shorty-style" has made more dyno-proven power at the wheels than ALL of the EL long tube headers.

im only refering to this part. and that the long tube EL is better all around even where u need it, if u had a dyno at ur disposal u should do this test sometime and you'll see

hey matty...we'll see about that. while you still retain your 1st cat and 2nd cat, i'll only have the 2nd. and it's a 4-2-1 design vs a 4-1 design. i'm gonna stomp your *** into the ground saturday night...keep talking smack.
lol.

skr33t....I don't need a dyno to know that by installing Hooker, long tube EL headers on my 1967 GT350 I lost power and torque. I gained a little top-end speed, but what I lost was much greater. I stand by my previous post as I know it to be fact. a LONG TUBE el header is not the way to go on these motors....

Topher, language language....What makes you think I'll have my first cat also?? The fact that it's on the car doesn't mean it's functioning properly!! I accept your challenge and after I'm done spanking you I'll welcome you over to my house for pancakes.

no pork products or juice from fruits sold by illegal immagrants on the dirty streets....

we shall dine on quiche, english muffins, and fresh fruits, but only after I dispense a sound thrashing on your buttocks at the paved strip used for motorsports.
