Just wondering, have you ever brought your car to get warranty work done and the dealership noticed an intake and voided your warranty??

Here in canada, the dealership sell the intake as well, I've had mine since the beginning and they don't seem to mind. They told to bring the cleaning stuff to clean the air filter when I get my 48 KMS service done or bring in a replacement for it so they change it for me since they don't sell the filters separetely.

IF your dealer has told you this...they are BREAKING THE LAW....

there is a little thing called the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT that protects you from such things...

now...does it stop them from giving you a hard time? no....but they can not void your warranty just because you installed an intake...or any other aftermarket part for that matter...

the only thing it will allow them to do...is IF the part you installed fails....and it causes other damage.....they do not have to cover the other damage that was caused by the aftermarket part....

Sir Nuke: I have seen 2 of your posts where you misspelled "warranty". It's a "Y" not a "EE" Just wanted to help you out man.
