Good to hear!

That combo might be another of my 'future' mods once the modding fund starts to accumulate again!

I know the flywheel lets the car rev a lot quicker, but are there any downsides to it like it might damage something? Also, what does the new clutch do for you? What is different? How does it feel? Sorry about the interrogation, just curious. Thanks!

the only downside i've noticed is that when my car is all warmed up, it now idles at around 700RPM instead of 850rpm...i'll have to get that fixed next time i goto the dealer

the new clutch has a very smooth engagement compared to the old one...also its rated at 250 HP, so if you put a turbo on you wont have any problems with your clutch system

also ive noticed that the engine is more quiet with the new clutch system at highway speeds

i got the clutch set from these guys

http://www.srmotorsports.com/protege.htm

you should check out these guys though, there clutch kit is cheaper then the one i got and the clutch is rated at 270HP

http://www.rr-racing.com/clutchmasters.htm

with your car being an auto you don't have a clutch/flywheel so unfortunatly your SOL for this mod

I just returned from changing my oil, and it just so happens that when the hood was up I glanced at one of the stickers. I believe idle in both autos and manuals is 700RPM. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure your 700RPM idle is ok.

A few more questions about the flywheel cuz I might get one over summer or next autumn, but anyways which brand did you get, how much does it weigh, how much did it cost, how much is shop install, how hard is DIY, and do you think it's worth it? Thanks for answering my questions once again, I appreciate you taking your time for me.

How clunky is the idle at 600rpm? does it feel lumpy and crappy or just a little more vibration? How about the slow down when you let off the gas at highway speed. Does it not hold its speed well at all or does it just slow down a little faster than normal?

Sorry dude for all these questions.
