Fuel Injector Cleaner

The cars been giving me alot of greef latley becuase it has become quite the gas guzzler. Ive got planes to get a cai and new plugs, but would also like to clean out the fuel injectors.

I was readin the back of the bottle and it says it will
improve milage (need it),
reduce hard start (also a problem),
and smooth rough ideling (I like my rough idle damit makes the car sound mean)

I always take my car to the local car wash to get the oil changed, I dont think they ever ran a bottle of injector cleaner through, and I defently have not.

So can anyone recomend some strong/good fuel injecotr cleaner that they have had succsess with in the past?

Futhermore how often are you supoposed to change the fuel filter. I dont think this was ever done either. Ive been bad to the car.

fuel filter should be replaced every 30K miles or sooner. You can never change filters too often.

Also, I would NEVER add injector cleaner into an old fuel filter....replace the filter and use a can of BG's 44K on Berryman's Chemtool in the gas tank. both are real good.

Yeah - it is supposed to be good for the life of the car - it certainly is not in the scheduled maint!

Fuel inj cleaner won't hurt anything - but check plugs/wires also.
