FS-ZE ECU suggestions

Ok, project FS-ZE has incurred a setback. Corksport was contracting Superchips to create a "piggyback" mod that would hook on to the stock ECU. Thus, reprogramming it with optimal settings for the FS-ZE.

Last word from Corksport is, the piggyback is 4 to 6 months away. This is HORRIBLE news! The expectation was that the ECU would have been made by now. I DESPARATELY want that ECU! Does anyone have any economical suggestions? I'd like to possibly find a vendor that will make a chip, reprogram my stock ECU, or anything that will help my car out.

I read a post about a "JET ECU upgrade". http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sho...=&threadid=629 Anyone know if this group can help? What about a S-AFC?

Help a brotha out. Thanks!

JET Performance is right around the corner from me, and last time i went in, they could black box our cars (1st gen) for $399 which adds about 10WHP. Not sure about the 3rd gens, as they are OBDII, no such thing on a G1 If you want, i can inquire for you in person. I have a few more questions i need answered as well, so no biggie if you want me too ask.

Send me the details and i'll see what they say.

Where in Cali are you?

I'd like to find a place where either Corksport can send a car or on the East Coast where I can send my car.

Huntington Beach

It would probably be pretty easy for Corksport to send a car just down to SoCal rather than across the nation.... Jet is actually in the same complex as Rod Millen....
