Feeling is Believing - AWR Mount

Got the front one put on today and man is it ever a noticeable difference. My stock mount looked completely thrashed!! I'm guessing that the rear one will go in...whenever I get a new clutch.

In other news...I got my new Optima Yellow Top battery installed too. Man is it ever...Yellow.

p.s. my pics were blurry (new camera) so I'll try again tomorrow.

If your front one looked trashed, your rear one probably is too. Also check the passenger side one, it can look OK but be torn all along the bottom. The rear AWR mount will increase the harshness much more than the front one has/did.

Vibrations at idle (~800-900rpm) are teh suck! Oh well...now I don't have to install those seat massagers buwhahhahahahahaahah

Ttiwwop?

My mechanic says my engine mount is fine. The Battery sure looks purty. I can now peel out in my own driveway without even trying!

To me the mount looks ok. The beefy 'center' part is the mount. The torn rubber surround didn't support much.

I had all of the major 'symptons' of shoddy motor mounts...I can't wait to see the rear one

Is there less vibration with the A/T motor mount? I'm definitely replacing in the next week or so, but wanted to know if it is worth the extra stiffness in the m/t mount for the extra discomfort it may create.

Call me crazy, but why would the A/T mounts be stiffer than M/T mounts??? Serious question from someone who doesn't know.

the AT mounts are softer.....people want the firmness but not the harsh vibrations...

The harsh vibrations end at 1k rpms heh. I need to set the idle there I guess

does the AT mount increase vibrations a noticable amount?
