Those mazda mufflers on ebay are they any good, its says expect 9 - 12 hp is that wise way to go or do you guys have any other alternatives. I want little gains and sweet sound.

you definately will get very little in gains. Probably somewhere around nill. Swapping a muffler will simply change the sound, nothing more.
