Man I'll tell you this. It seems to me that you’re trying to impress the guys on the other forums and win them over or show them up by making things for our cars that no one ells has done. Your doing it all wrong.

1 Most of the guys on the other forums are young. Sorry I hope this doesn't **** off the youngins here. Most of them don't know how to talk with out arguing. So who cares what they say. When they grow up they'll learn.

2 If you’re wanting to make a name for yourself let you product do it for you. I you do finish this manifold and it works I WILL buy one. So will a few others. Then I WILL tell other people. IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME! (as long as it works LOL) But remember that just because you have 5 or 6 different things in the works don't mean squat unless you finish one.

3 And lastly the money part. You have to many things going. Pick the one thing that you are most certain will work (I hoping for the manifold) and make a good overall improvement and stick to that until it's done. Put all the others on hold. Once it's done and you sell a few then pick another (like the ECU thing your doing). Can you tell what I want? LOL

Quit worrying about what others think of you. I'm not your friend but I respect you. Not because of your opinions (because some of them are bad ) and not because of the things you’re working on. But because I respect any body that can speak his mind and not ***** foot around, that and because the people around you that are on here talk about how good of a guy you are. So finish what you've started (again my manifold!) and quit your bitching.

With most love,
Bryan

I thought that sounded bad LOL I suck at pep talks . Hey if you get into an *** kikck contest expect to get a kick in the ***. You know what I mean? Every thread has some one being an ***. So don't take it to heart. Plus there are some over there that do support you.

Most of the stuff you do is for the NA cars, at least i think most of them are NA only? but... most of my "to-do" list is stuff you have suggested... including my fixing my "wiggly pipe"

Well said Bryan! And who cares about the people "over there" All you need is us! You dont ever really need to go over there anyway, you can have anachist or Ken run GB's on stuff over there!

I know I'm glad I call this forum home, and Matty you have certainly made it a better experience. You always have good answers to everything, and you make me laugh a lot of the time with things like that smashed evo and you said "that'll buff out" and the transformers movie "clean up on isle....my pants" LMAO I laughed so hard at those!

Anyway, I just had to throw in my support because it seems like you do great work and dont stop doing what you like just because of a couple disrespectful people online may not like you! We certainly like and appreciate you here! I bet their are even people over their that like you, but are too scared of getting flamed or bitched at to say it! I think that a lot of the people who say sh*t are just people who are truely jealous because they cant even install parts themselves, let alone build custom products by hand!

Keep your head up and do whatever you think is right!
Scott.

i think you guys are missing the point. I dont care what they think about me.... I care that Im out a bunch of money with not much to show for it.

If I were to make this manifold work and had 2 maybe 3 buyers the price would have to be WAY high to make my money back and come ahead. It wouldn't be worth it. The protege community as a whole doesn't spend money on their cars (everything has to be as cheap as possible). For people like me who spend too much of their personal there's no real reward in it but making people happy. But when people would rather spit on you than look at you it takes EVERY bit of wind out of your sails.

everyone here is always real cool but we're a small niche group. Nice to know hard work is appreciated here but making you laugh hasn't put any cash in my pocket!

p.s. and i need that cash man....i'm getting WAY over my head on my own personal stuff.

Well unfortunately you have to have a finished product to show and the proof to back up the claims. Look at the womp. You need to get that car done and tested so that you can prove that if people buy the kit it wont kill the car. With the manifold and the AFCII thing. Both would sell like hot cakes but you have to get one done install it and dyno to sell it. Both things would sell if done. But you also can't expect to make your money back on the first couple of sells either. If you do it'll put it out of rang for alot of buyers.

I hear ya, it's a hard thing to do trying to make money like this.

I'm to lazy to spell check by the way.

i agree with ya....jack of all trades...master of none. I'm focusing 100% on these SC kits. There's going to be some good news on these shortly....I'm still not doing the IM though...once I'm done with the SC kits, I'm outtie.

Matty, we still <3 you...we're just broke!

I'd LOVE to do an IM and high comp pistons and whatnot...but right now it isn't feasible. However, things will probably change financially over the winter months, i.e. raises & bonuses (tax returns???). This is the time when we are most likely to do the majority of our BIG SPENDING.

I still haven't decided what to do with my car anyway...it is going to cost wayyy to much (for stupid stuff) to keep showing it and stay competitive and it would cost a bit of money and time to upgrade the N/A stuff and suspension. *heavy sigh* What's a girl to do? I've been out riding my El Cheapo scooter a lot lately....
