Crappy clutch or tranny...
Dudes, i posted a couple weeks back how i took my car to the deaerlship and they said my pressure plate and throw-out bearing were like dicked so they gave me a whole new clutch. I took it in the first place cuz it was shifting kinda unsmooth and it would grind sometimes even with the clutch in, and the clutch got REALLY chattery sometimes.
Anyways.
Two weeks later and the clutch is starting to feel all unsmooth and crappy again.
On my last car, a 2001 Celica GT-S, I NEVER had any problems with the tranny, and my first car, a 1990 Eclipse GST, the shifter was a little fragile, but the clutch was all good even after like 110,000 miles, so im pretty sure im not really doing naything wrong.
Did mazda just make a crappy clutch or do i suck at driving or is my car jacked or what?
Thanks for any input guys!

Yeah i'm thinking i might ask them to give me a whole new assembly since i had that crap clutch for like 6000 miles and it was probably smoking my transmission cuz it grinded like at least once a day and crap...
But then they might just be like, "well it was your fault you didnt bring it in" and stuff..you know dealerships.

Turns out it only gets rough when im really pushing the car... Even if it feels like i damaged the crap out of my car, the next day it feels fine. I've learned to just drive more calmly, and it works a lot better, but still not perfect.

the problem is the left too much matieral on the flywheel when machining. They will just replace the clutch/flywheel and it should solve the problem. If it happens 4 times in 18 months in Ca it is a lemon buy back and you get your $ or a new car. Dont try and gip Mazda but if it happens it happens and they are good about warranties. Good luck

Hrm...when i was at the dealer the first time, and i mentioned that the bunny hop problem could be because the flywheel, the service guy was like "nope thats not it....havent heard anytihng on that." and i was like "well i heard about it from a guy on the forums who got it fixed at a dealership..." and he was just like "Well you can't trust everythiong on the internet [you punk teenager]." So i was just like "uhh ok...."
But maybe when i go back i'll talk to him about that. Do you work at Mazda, YellowSport20?
