Couple Newbie Questions.. :(

The HKS Hiper Exhaust at Advasnced imports...
Is that a cat back or just a muffler. Seems cheap for a catback from HKS... If so is it worth a damn...

Also what header systems are available for the P5?

Again newbie questions. I apologize.

Welcome to the board. For future reference a search probably woudl have brought these up but I will answer them anyways. The HKS exhaust is a Axle Back (muffler) section but I believe just the mazdaspeed axle back added 3 whp on the dyno alone so i would expect similar if not better from HKS aka High Kost Shi*. As for headers HP is coming out with both a shorty and full length race header. NOPI sells the shorty header for 207 in ceramic coat but Rishi aka ARD P5 on the board here sells the shorty and the full race versions. The Full race is a 4-2-1 header with O2 simulator and high flo cat for about 375 shipped. OBX is releasing a header as well soon as is Aerospeed. Traveler on the board makes a equal length shorty header that is hand built and your choice of ceramic coat for I think 475 more than the HP but I'm sure better quality and it has a PROVEN dyno gain of 9 ft lbs i believe and 7 hp at the wheel. I hope that helps you out and welcome to the boards.

Ok thanks for the answers and I do realize that these answers probably could have been reached via the very utilitarian search feature but sometimes some one on one conversation will yeild better results.

What about Bosal headers. I read somewhere on my Probe board that the Bosals for probes would work protoges and thats why they were in such short supply.

Just wonderin...

Thanks for the welcome btw.

I do promise to use the search feature in the future. I do realize the annoyance of answering the same question 3 times a day, as I have been on the other side of this conversation too many times.
