cooling fans

should the cooling fan come on as soon as the car is started? even though its not even at operating temps yet?and ramdomly while at idle and crusing.

Are you running the A/C ?? The fan always runs when the A/C compressor is on....The other fan will cycle on and off to maintain temp based on the temp sensor readings

While on the topic of cooling fans...are there any slim ones that replace the factory fans?
