I was wondering what i should do...and if you guys can help. I've been working with K&N on their new CAI series and i had them make a CAI for my Celica, but i sold it. I had a prototype for a while but i gave it back to them so i could get a real production version which hasnt come in yet. So now, i can get either a celica or protege 5 CAI. I would sell the celica one and put the money towards paying for the car, or i could take the pro 5 one, which yields 7 whp gain over stock , and probably a hot sound. I loved the sound of my CAI on my celica, but i obviously didn't get the p5 for performance.
Do CAIs usually increase mileage? Will it kill my bottom end? On the celi, the bottom end dropped a little. I could always ask the K&N guy to see the dyno if i wanted to. What do you guys think?
