Bosal is out for a month or so. We have the Racing Beat systems available though. Real nice sound, doesn't need a silencer. It has a resonator.

Rishie

420 dollars plus shipping.

BULLLLLSSSHHIIITTTT. that thing is loud . I mean I liek the performance or whatever it was supposed to give (I didnt really feel anything though as I already had my Injen installed). But the exhaust itself is olud as hell, and uber irritating on the freeway at about 70MPH. It drones like a sonofabitch. I got the silencer for $30, I e-mailed Bosal direct and they told me where to get it, and not to pay more than $30 for it. I know some places are selling them for $50. If someone tries to sell it to you for $50, tell them to go get fucked, cause Bosal direct said that it costs $30, and that's what I paid after I had the dealer I bought from call Bosal. Also the exhaust should only cost you $380. Again another price from Bosal, and the price I paid for mine. I have legitimate receipts for proof, and I don't even know anyone at the shop I bought it from. I just thank the internet,a nd you can tell people to **** themselves on their prices cause you know better.....

But anyway, don't get this exhaust without the silencer.

Sweeden, I think Rishie was talking about the Racing Beat Exhaust when he mentioned no silencer and $420/shipping.

But your comments strike me as interesting. After all I read, it sounded like the Bosal sounded the best and was an excellent exhuast and here you are telling me that it has a drone just like the Mazdaspeed one? How is the drone with the silencer? And do you have the full catback from them?

Or you could go all out and get the one from JIC.

Oh hehe, well I'm not real good sometimes at reding everyhting sometimes. If he was talking about the Racing Beat then I have no knowledge of that exhaust. But as for the Bosal, yeah I have the full catback version. The bosal looks cool and all, but it really didn't give any gains that I was able notice. Like I said I felt the difference when I put the Injen on, then about a month later I put the Bosal full catback on, and I didn't feel anything, except a pain in my ears when I drove. It is helly loud when you step on it, and it resonates inside the car awfully. But now that I installed that silencer, I love it. The car's exhuast is now comparable to stock sound levels, and I can hear my intake over my exhaust now, which I think sounds awesome. But definitely, the $30 is well worth it, unless you like a loud ***, attention getting exhaust.

Glad you guys sorted that out. hehe.

The bosal is exactly as Sweeden describes which is why I'm so thrilled with my Racing Beat.

I guess you guys will have to wait. It costs a little more but well worth it.

silencer question

does installing a silencer on your exhaust recduce its performance? is it restrictive at all? I don't even know what a silencer looks like so this may be a dumbass question.

I haven't felt any loses from installing my silencer. All it is an insert about 10 inches or so long that fits into your muffler. The silencer itself is of a smaller diameter, and makes the muffler opening smaler, but as far as performance I dunno, like I said I feel no difference what so ever. The only thing I do feel is lack of my ear drums being tormented by the horrid sound of that loud *** exhaust.

I went to the srmotorsports page, and I thought it was pretty good. I want to get the alternator pulley set from them, but ill probably go with the Unorthodox racing Crank pulley for $170 (i think) unless the Indigo crank pulley is alot less.
