AWR Motor Mount Question

I installed the front, driver side and passenger side engine mounts/inserts this afternoon. All went really well except for one thing. On the passenger side mount, i was unable to get the piece that goes through the mount and bolts to the engine off so that i could put in the insert closest to the engine. I tried to twist this piece out, i even tried using a press to get it out, but all that happened was the rubber stretched. I know a lot of people out there have put these in, so im wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Thanks for the help...
Oh, and i could totally tell the difference as soon as i started the engine. Its just a tiny bit harsher at idle, but not noticeable when driving, but shifting is a lot smoother and there isnt any rocking. I love it. I cant wait to get the rear one in as soon as i get a few hours free.

Just wait til you get the rear mount in...

Throttle response heaven.

Rattle/vibration/noise hell.
