APEXi Exhaust?

I've recently been looking for another Exhaust for my Pro5, and the APEXi N1 caught my eye. Besides that its a bad-*** exhaust!I currently have 2.25 in. piping with a Racing series Magnaflow exhaust. It sounds great but I want an exhaust that looks more aggressive and of course sounds good. So my question is, Does anyone have the APEXi N1 on there Protege5? If so, does it sound good? If anyone thinks I should just keep the set up I have now please give me your opinion. The N1 is going to cost me roughly $215, plus an additional $20 to switch them out. And the Magnaflow will go to my Cav Z24. If I dont get it, im going to use the money to buy the Ground Control coilovers. Your answers & opinions are greatly appreciated!

I know a guy who has one on his MP3, sound REALLLY GOOD

even running open exhaust sounds good on these cars, no WAAAAAAAAAAAAA weed wacker sound.

My exhaust is open from the axle back, and you wouldnt be able to tell by the sound unless i told you so.

but anyway, N1's sound real good on any car, even Civics!

N1

I have the N1 on my Pro5 and it is great. I also did a little deleting in the front of the exhaust ( an unnecessary part in Texas). It looks great, performs well, and sounds sweet. I would recommend it to anyone. I got mine for wholesale price, so it was under $100 plus the 2.25 inch custom bent tubing. GET IT!

purepro, did you get the actual Apexi N1 or the "N1 style" muffler. They are not the same and even 100 doesnt sound like APEX'i

even for a performance shop getting a 50% discount off the manufacturer still sounds incredible. I'm not saying he didn't (boy would I want one for that price) but there are alot of knock off's running around (Just type in N1 exhaust in ebay) and it's easy to be fooled, especially since the cheapest i've ever seen the APEX'i for was $190!!!

But this is just my conspiracy theory mind talking......

N1

When I got the muffler (from a reputeable distributor), it was in with a large order, so I got a much better deal than if someone were to go to a shop or from a mag. Of course, I cannot extend the same deal to the rest of you because, Unless I order like 20-30 of them, I wouldn't get the same deal. I will have a website up soon and all your questions will be answered there. Or e-mail at:

I still don't have a price list in stone, but I can be very competitive, especially with the prices that people have been posting. I will probably sell them for $175-$190 for a start up deal. Maybe less if there are a few interested. Do I smell a GB. This is the wrong forum for that so please don't start writing that you want one. When I can get a consistant price I will do a GB.

Let me get this straight

Less than $250????

Is that a cat-bak or what?

Sorry, I've never heard about the N1 before.

$200 range sounds good becase the Bosal cat-back is almost $400.

No, hes talking about the universal muffler, if they made a cat-back for the Pro5, it would be around $500!
