Any Ractive intake problems?

This is for an Automatic tranny tho, i'm planning to get one this weekend including a Ractive strut bar

Any problems with the Ractive intake and a manual tranny would be nice too... I'm planning to get it this wkend too...

If it's for the Ractive short ram intake, search for the keywords "ractive" and "install" for relevant threads.

The issue with these intakes are:

1) Clearance of the brake master cylinder
2) Uselessness of the supplied bracket.

The two are related, as with a decent bracket the clearance issue is handled.

One thing I would highly recommend when installing a Ractive intake is buy a 5" L bracket to support it instead of the supplied bracket. Do a "search" on the install to see the pictures.
A little modifying to the L bracket to find the perfect fit. But once I had it right it fit perfect. I've had no problem with clearance or rubbing on the master cyclinder.
