Question Air Filter Care?

Hey, Im bout to order a K&N filter and was wondering if I should go ahead and order the "filter care kit", its only $8.68. Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldnt find any info on this kit while searching....Thanx...

the kit is prolly just a little oil you can use to coat the filter after cleaning it. Basically, if the filter starts to turn black, sound weird, or you can't see through it, then just hose it down-it's reusable

Yeah, but after hosing it down, you have to re-oil it or it won't be effective. The kit is well worth the $9. The cleaner works well, and you really need the oil.
