Congrats on the success. Starting a freshly rebuilt motor is like getting that toy you've been wanting for Christmas when you were kid. The suspense up to the moment is almost enough to kill ya (well, me anyways).

Good work, keep us informed of the dyno results.

Good to hear someone is rolling again. I am in the process of a re-build myself if you haven't heard already. It will be at least a month before I roll my ride again. I am waiting on JE pistons. I already have some Pauter Rods. You can get them(the rods) from Flyin' Protege. I can't wait to hear what the port and polished head does for you!

Good to hear! I'm interested in hearing more after break-in. I picked up a spare head, and plan on port/polish/3 angle valve job/extrude hone/JDM cams. No big hurry... but still.

Please keep us posted on your results. Congrats!

Jim
