what is best lowering kit?

what would be the best lowering kit for 1998 Mazda Protege LX? also what kind of costs will i be looking at? also what kind of drop? i put 17in rims on and there is way to much wheel well gap. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I remeber one of the proguys was telling me that there would be some sprint springs out for the protege(2nd gen) ,and I was thinking of getting them if they are really out .. you can check out sprintsuspension.com and see if they have them .. you also have intrax spring , BG springs , Eibach spring , anyone want to add to this list ...

1.3" H&R Springs. Last I checked, it was going for $270CAN plus taxes.
