Bruce, how is it going my friend? I noticed that you have (had) a stainless mesh air filter hanging on the civic intake. Do you still have it there? Any problems with it? People complaint about its filtring capacity which is not that good (>200 uM ?)

my 95 just hit 223,000 miles, though you would never guess it had nearly that many.

140,000 on my '96 LX. Other than routine maintenance the only things I have had to change has been the EGR valve and the air conditioner condensor fan behind the radiator.

Had 198,000 miles on my 95 DX. NOT ONE PROBLEM!!!! thats Mazda for yeah. Besides tune-ups, maintenance, etc. The only thing to fail was my CV Joint on the driver side. Too many miles now gave it to my dad all modified and got me my baby 2001.

i do an oil change every month
that gets expensive with the synthetic stuff

not to get off topic , but I switched back to regualar oil ,,, don't even notice the difference .... just need to use 5w30 in the winter so the car can warm up quicker ,... and I also use Lucas ,, it stoped the blue smoke ...

well, i use the synthetic stuff...
pretty much just in hopes of getting THAT little bit more of life out of my motor....

hopefully it does something and im just not waisting my money

why is ur car burning oil already??
