Where did my A/C go?

So, I was cruising along the streets the other day when I noticed I have an A/C button (I didn't even noticed it when I bought it ). Anyway, turned it on, no light came on, and no cold air from the vents. Checked under the hood and looked for the compressor, but found only 2 belts (1 for alt, 1 for p/s). And no pullies with a missing belt. I also checked my rad...only 1 fan. So, did the car come with A/C and someone took it off? Or are all Proteges like that?

It doesn't matter to me whether I have A/C or not anyway. It would be another hassle for me to take care of.

Opinions?

Oz

I am the eternal optimist!

K.I.T.T. used to have a turbo boost button - why can't Oz?

It was on TV so it must be true!

what a great idea! thats obviously something i plan to incorporate - the air conditioned turbo with under-turbo neon and some stickers to make the a/c go faster.
i wonder if a six or seven inch exhaust outlet on the turbo will make it look cool? i bet it would! then all i have to do is drop it about four inches - but i don't know what i should lower - the turbo or the a/c? which would be better for performance?

check it out - i'd really like to your opinions - i gots some mad tyte ideas for this project!

i should apologise to all the people who were hurt during this presentation - ie that's steven pelham's radiator/intercooler and Travis for the civic stickers
