Plan to order Ractive Air Intake from Autotoys.com, and a K&N air filter. Hopefully a turbo w. manifold from Braden, but that's down the line some.

I was thinking of ordering that same intake also, as a matter of fact I did but they don't take discover , so no sale , lol ,, I am ordering a front strut mount right now to replace one of mine , .
I usually get them and someother stuff from www.carparts.com

Hey Bruce, if I order some springs, should I get struts also, or maybe even a camber kit just for good measure, or can I get away with just new springs?

You don't need a camber kit , and if you shocks are in good shape then I think you will be Aok ....
which springs did order..

I'm thinking about the Intrax ones, they sound pretty good for the price, and they've come recommended before here. Also, since I have a DX, which is pretty bare, how hard/easy would it be to install Power Windows and/or Locks? I'm sure I could go to a junkyard or something; or if I had to, order them, but would it be easy to do it myself, or would I need the dealership's help on this one?

Thanx again Bruce!

The Intrax springs are a good choice, if you want to upgrade shocks at the same time , that is your choice .. as for the locks and stuff , yeah you can do that yourself , you may need the door panels from a ES or LX

Ok, cool. Thanx Bruce! Too bad you're all the way over on the East Coast, I'd love to look at your car up close and talk shop over a beer or something.

Anyways, thanx again!

Well assuming that you have good shocks then I would think that you don't need them , it is not something that is 100% necessary , most times people recomend it cause the newer stronger shocks can handle the shorter stiffer springs, but trust me, assuming that you have good shocks on your car then you should not really have any problems ..
Bruce
and yest the 17's will fit but you must first make sure that you have the right offset rim ..
usually +40 is good

Well my next mod is going to be the mazdaspeed jspec front bumper along with the corksport front bumper that I ordered last week .. I am just awaiting delivery , but once they are here I will be installing them along with the foglights that I have purchased. I have just recently today installed my JL components in the front of my car,
