tenzo intake adapters?

i've been reading some mixed reviews about the K&N cotton gauze drop-in filters, and how the cleaning oils can affect the maf sensor. what do you think of the TENZO intake adapters that ptuning.com sells? they look like they replace the airbox with a conical cotton gauze filter. has anyone tried anyting similar to that? i'm not looking for loudness, or even hp gains (which i think are negligable in an air filter) but i hear that they help with gas mileage a little, and thats always a plus.

here is the part number from ptuning.com: PTT-ISTOYO
if you search it, you will find the page.
It looks like the "eBay" intakes that i read about in this forum, how are they?
