First of all, if I removed my Catalytic converter, would exhaust flow be increased enough to show a difference? Maybe its not ethical, but hey, worth a try..

and second, is that Octane booster stuff really worth it? Does it do anything?
for one i think straight pipes work decently but im not 100% sure of the difference it makes..my last car i put an offroad h-pipe on at the same time as a little bit bigger throttle body and the 2 made quite the difference...why not try and have the throttle body bored out as much as you can without ruining it???

second...yes...hold the brake all the way down and floor the gas pedal..its kinda hard on your brakes but its way better then a neutral drop...the engine will prolly rev to aboiut 2500rpm or so...then when you wanna go just drop the brake and ur off...

third...yes push the little button in and make sure it says "O/D Off" and overdrive will be off...overdrive takes out the top gear and makes the engine rev a little better...keeps the car in 3rd gear a lot longer too it seems...

yeah ive put a decent amount of money into mine so far too...not a whole lot but a good amount...it is very fun to drive and just mess around with people...not a bad little car for the dinky motor we got huh?? lol

I bought my car (98 LX Auto) used so I'm not sure what was done to it, but there are some times when I can press the gas pedal to the floor that the tires will actually lose grip momentairly then get going. Also, the 1.5L's max HP comes in at 5500 RPM, so make sure you have your transmission shift there.

BTW, Most accords come with 120+ hp. Unfortunately, our 1.5l can't really compete with a 2.0 motor like the accord. I have a 1.5l protege with a manual transmission and I get beat alot :P. Well, I'm waiting for my car to get outta da shop with my MSD ignition and blaster 2 coil installed. I'm not sure how that will help but hopefully, it'll help a bit. And where did you get the performance headers from? I also plan on getting a custom 2.0 inch catback exhaust. But that's a good 500 dollars, even with a high-flow cat. I may decide to get a high flow cat or not. Whatever it is, I so wanna know where u got da headers lol.
