that metal line under the exhaust manifold

anyone cut that metal line under the exhaust manifold the that. It carry Hot coolant ot the TB. Go ot this site oyu understand

It says its for a Mazda 6 ? is this also viable on the protege....

The throttle body on the Protege is also heated by coolant to prevent freezing in cold weather.

I went out and looked, it looks easy enough to bypass. I went out and got a connector to bypass, just to test it out. A friend of mine with a ford probe says it wont do much, but anything that has the chance of improving my baby!

I'll keep you posted on how it works out... if anyone cars.

coolant line bypass

I bypass the coolant line to the TB and it much cooler.The car feel better.

I did it today, it seems to have made the car idle higher, I dont think the coolant would effect the idle, but anyway For how inexpensive it is if it helps at all I'll go for it.
