Gauge cluster lights

I had my dash apart and decided to look at the cluster, i pulled a bunch of lights off the back to look at them and two had green covers on them, i tore them off and put them back in and tonight when i was driving around i noticed how much brighter the cluster lights were and that the needles didn't have a green tint any more, not sure if anyone else has done this but just an idea for someone wanting to chance the dx clusters a little.
