Thumbs up Finally.

Woot. Finally got some parts for my 96 1.5 lawnmower.

Ractive strut bar for 25 bux off of ebay (quite a steal from what i've heard)

JDM clear side markers for 25

HID lights for 10 if I remember correctly. Hey, if they fry, its 10 bux right?

For some gay, gay reason I got outbid on front bumper clear lights. So pissed. Noone was bidding until the last second until some *** got them for 23 dollars.

Guess I'll never find those again unless I wanna sell my soul to Satan to buy em off of corksport.

Making 6 bux an hour at a video store wont get me that.

Neither will my dream engine drop 1.8 turbo (180 ponies)

Drool.

My original car was gonna be a CRX HF which would have rocked. Just recently checked ebay and found yet another HF that sold without me knowing. Curses.

Very happy with my Protege though, just regret that I got stuck with a terrible year.

those front bumper clear lights aren't for your turn signal if that is what you thought they are the side marker lights. I haven't even seen those on corksport its a good think you didn't get them or you'd have two pair of clear side markers

I think he is aware of that, because if he was bidding on the clear corners, then he must have a 97-98. If he had a 95-96, like you, he would have clear corners already.
Unfortunately, I did pay an arm and a leg for those clear corners, and realized how STUPID I was for buying them first, and not my exhaust. But let that be a lesson to all Protege newbies.

BOBFISH: Did you buy the HID kit, or just the light bulbs? Because if just get the bulbs it won't be anything close to the real HID light. I know there are kits around on ebay for around $100, so I had to ask.

uhmm he has a 96, read his first post. he already has clear corners. i think what he is looking for is clear turn signals, which i also am looking for but cannot find anywhere.

Well in that case, I do not why he mentioned Corksport. They sell clear corners for the 97-98. On ebay however, there are clear side markers that fill fit on front and rear of 95-96, and only rear of 97-98. I guess he was lucky he got outbid, otherwise he would have wasted some money. I have never seen clear bumper corner lights for 95-96.

the only places i've seen the clear turn signals is on some website in a language i couldn't read, so unless i can find someone to figure it out i cant' order them but i heard is over 100 dollars for the pair somethin like 180 or close to that.

Sorry, I was thinking about the tail lamps from corksport.

Ok well heres the two items. One is for sure the side markers, while I'm not sure about the other one. I bid on em anyways because I'll probably not see clears like that again without paying a hefty price for em

I won these

and lost these

yeah i would love the ones from corksport, actually want ones that are all white and you can only see the red or amber when the light is actually on. no way i can pay 249 for a pair of lights though. Those front bumper or marker lights are nice i got mine for 15 after shipping.

Oh yeah, and the HIDs, no it's not the kit, just the bulbs. I'm aware the kit is the whole deal, but my current lights are really shitty anyways. Which reminds me, I need to readjust my lights. The bubble level says they're way to low and I can see jack lol.

the side markers on ebay that you didn't get are a perfect fit into the side markers that come with the car, the ones you bought where will you put them? are you going to drill a hole and install them extra? they don't look like they will fit in the same place as our current side markers.

Oh and those clears from ebay are on there all the time so don't worry. now if you saw the rear clears like the ones on corksport on ebay then i'd definantly try not to loose them, but those are not the same lights as the one on ebay, for some reason corksport doesn't sell the side markers or front clear turn signals fo rthe 95-96

I'm not sure they will fit in the back also, that back ones don't have a light that i've seen, they are just reflectors, you'd have to try and take off one in the back and see if its the same as the front one.

They will fit in the back, I have them on my 98...that splinter guy has an actual webpage...www.matrixracing.com or somthing like that...matrix something...like $30 USD. The bumper behind the rear reflectors needs to be cut a little bit...verrrry easy.
