If you want to change the color of the lights behind ur dash, get some high temp glass paint. I used to have indiglo's but they burned so that is what i did.

Oh that sounds even better. So I could just paint the green lights blue... or red?

This painting deal sounds much cheaper and more of what I am looking for. Pictures would be much appreciated. Also, is it hard to paint the lights?

If I do paint the bulbs blue, and I end up not liking it, do the dealers have replacement lights. And better yet, might they have blue lights to begin with?

As far as I remember, when I installed my gauges, there are bulbs that provide color to the stock gauges. I cannot remember if they snap off, or you might have to solder then off, but if you take them to Radio Shack, I am sure they will be able to find one of the same color. Just an idea. I was thinking of doing this for my needles, because I want them red, and all other numbers white. But thats a future project.

OK, I took off the cluster and removed lights and moved lights and such and I hit a problem: even with no green lights connected, the gauges still glow green! There must be someother green film it's passing though before it hits the front. Any ideas? If not, I guess my only option is to put in red and have it be orange, which I wouldn't hate.

there is a film on the back of the gauges that you need to remove

OK, good, that sounds solveable. But I took the whole cluster off and I couldn't get behind each of the faces that show the number. I unscrewed the screws that are visible to the front, but couldn't get them to come off. Do I need to take the green panel on the back off, or do I need to get the black plate that has the three big holes for the gauges off somehow?

Does anyone know how to access the green filters?

So I did a little more digging, and it's like my bad luck never runs out. The green it matted to the black faces. There is no way to remove just the green. I guess it's goodbye to Project Bluelight.
