Backseat

Does anyone know if there is a black backseat made to fit a 96 protege?

What? Are you talking about a bench, or a bucket seat? I would assume you are talking about the bucket seats, and in that case, the answer is no. I do not even think there is such seat made for the all so popular Civic.

Just paint or dye yours black. You would have to make custom brackets, frame, and the padding yourself. Or, you can get a pair of buckets in the rear, and from there, just make some custom panels to fill in the gaps around the seats.

Just have your back seat pulled out and change into black fabric or leather by an reupholstery shop which will do it probably in the $140 range. This is maybe a little pricey but it will last much, much longer than dyeing your seat black, which will eventually fade and look like crap.
