Lightbulb Possible Burnout?

Hey guys.

I have a 96' Protege Lx and I was just wondering if
it is possible to burn some rubber in it.
It is an automatic. I havent gotten the car yet,
that is why I am asking. I wasnt sure whether or not
if it had enough power to do it. My boy has a 89'
Maxima and it does it with an automatic.
Enyways, if someone could just post a reply, that
would be great.

Thanks!

P.S. It is a 1.5L

Probably not. The VE series engine in the maxima is good for 160hp and good ammounts of torque, it has the advantage of being able to peel the tires. Who knows, though, I've never driven or ridden in a 1.5l pro auto... But my friend with an integra with about 140hp can't spin em either. No low end torque, no spin without neutral drops.

I am thinking of converting the doors to power windows , but I would need all new panels and crap , less I make custom switched ,like bmw's around the ebrake, that would be hot ....
i just wish for a sunroof

the only way to peel out in the auto in that car is to put it in neutral rev it and hold it then drop it into drive and it will peel out.

my LX i can spin em all through first and sometimes through part of second, depending on the street.. : )
Oh, and both my tires spin so i leave 2 nice lines which I think is pretty sweet..

Anybody see the clear headlights for us 2nd gen's at corksport????? I'm gonna be picking em up along with the clear front corners sometime early next year........

smoke

I can smoke my tires pretty decent, ive done it at school a couple times, and left a nice big cloud of smoke, i have a 97' lx 5 speed, and its just a matter of revin it a little and popin the clutch. maybe you guys are trying to burn them without revin it, that i can only do on slippery roads.
