Talking in need of a clutch

OK I am in need of a clutch for my 1.5L pro , it is slips often ,, although I do baby it , I can even feal the loss of power from the clutch just being plain old worn ,,, I was passing by the centerforce site and saw they sell a clutch for the 1.5L ,,, do you know of any other companies that make one for our cars .

Corksport has a Mazdaspeed clutch set for your pro for $ 380.

I also found this :

Ok I found this clutch that is available for the 1.5L protege, it is from ACT and they have all different applications available , ... here is a sample link for the 1.5L stock replacement

they are also available for the 3rd gen 2.0 also you can see those at the site

Hey thanks for that link ,,, it was very helpful , I will stick with the ACt clutch and look into changeng the rear seal that 99&00clutch mentioned ,lol

being as everyone swares by the ACT and I do trust all of you guys , I will be installing this cluthc in my protege, so far the lowest price I have found is from Derrick at Corksport for 260 .. so I will be purchasing this item by next month ,, until then I will be saving up the dough for the purchase and install ,... thanks goes out to everyone who replied to this thread , your comments and referals are deeply appreciated

well i was considering to do that , but being as this will be a tranny item and I also want to have my full waranty on this item I will let a pro do it ,,.. I will have to find someone that is good at it and then let them do it ,...

I bought my ACT clutch form Corksport for about $268. They get a lot of them, so the cost less than a lot of places sell them for.

Let me know how much you end up paying for the installation....'cause I have no ideia how much shops charge for changing the clutch............

I gotta change mine too but that will be later on....

I have an ACT, it is alright I guess. Check clutchnet.com Clutchnet is great. I have ran a few of them.

I'm getting mine put in with my engine, so no extra labor here! I think on average it is about $250-$500 for installation.
