lightweight flywheels!
well, Bruce wants one for his 1.5...so i assumed at least he wasn't aware of this(maybe others are)
anyways, i was looking at www.indigospeed.com tonight and noticed they have applications for BOTH the 1.5 and 1.8 2nd gens....
and just because they're a 'new' company doesn't mean their product ain't no good....MAYBE it isn't, but PROBABLY it is....!

will transfer more torque to the wheels, lets say...if the new flywheel is 3lbs lighter...you will get 3 +- lbs of torque to the wheels...
you may loose some high speed.
thats what i think....

are aluminum flywheels safe?
i heard a rumor from this guy about how the bolt holes will stretch and eventually have the flywheel come loose....
and i also heard people saying that alumimum flywheels can shear and cut through the bellhousing...
u kno, cutting my legs off....
i know that can happen with lightened factory units, but how bout aluminum ones....
(im considering getting the indigospeed flywheel, but im worried it may not be great quality and it will come off ruining my car and my legs, or it may not be balanced or something)
