I have a 96 protege LX 1.5 L with about 98,000 miles on it the check engine light came on and i dunnowhat could be up. I changed my spark plugs about a yr ago, anybody have any ideas on what could be up?

 

We need a little bit more info than that. A trouble code would help.

 

If the light is still on, take it Autozone, and they should be able to give you the code. If its a known code, they will probably tell you exactly what the problem is. If not, come back here, and will try to help you out.
