I have a 1997 protege 1.5. I was wondering about the 210 hp j-spec engine that is available from corksports and the j-spec tranny. I was wondering about the possiblity of it fitting in my car. Also my friend has a 95 mx6 13b rx7 engine, he is considering the possibility of a millienia S engine. If any one knows about these things please let me know.

Please explain more about the first part of your comment about the gt-r and PBT. Also you said that the normal GTX engine would be better normal meaning us spec or what? Thanks for the help. I should just sell me gay 1.5 and get the es.

Also my friend really does have a 13b in his 6. His grandpa is really into performance cars (mostly american muscle cars) but he did alot of the custom engine bay and mounting work. The 6 was also converted to rear wheel drive and uses a 3rd gen rx7 tranny.

The GTX motor is from overseas not in the US .Hes not talking about the us mazda gtx ...the 185hp GTX motor has a smaller turbo and less built then the gtr motor but does fine with well over 200 hp..Do u have pics of this 13b powered mx6? that sounds cool ...Jon 93 lx

 

Whatz up ppl this is my 1'st port here ... My wife just got a 95 ES 1.8L MTX Protege all that = ... the car realy surprises me when I drive it .. and trust me I know my cars I drive a 89 MX-6 GT Turbo as my daily driver and an 87 RX-7 Turbo2 in the garage as a project car ...
