What would you guys pay?
I just wanted to know what you American guys would pay for a Canadian GT? Keeping in mind that they only made 1500 in 90 and 91, and 500 in 93. here's some pics of mine.

note; it's a 93, but it looks like it has a 94 front end. Which means that all 94 front ends are modelled from the Canadian 93 GT

I paid 2500 for my 90 SE, but that was with interest included. I don't know about 4k cash though. There are LX's in excellent condition going for 1500-2000 here cash so you might be able to get 2500, unless you can find someone who is really a protege enthusiast and really really wants it. Some one might actually pay 4k for it, but it'll take a while to find that person.

It looks like a phat *** car. Really nice interior. wicked lookin black paint job wiht them bangin rims and spoiler. Depends on how "RARE" the car is. If they are popular in Can. Then ull get maybe $3000 TOPS for it here in the US. Id love to have the car. But nothin u can do. Try to sell it. But takin it accross the boarder will F*ck some ppl over with taxes and inspections ETC.

I second that. Selling the rims and all other modifications you have done separately from the car might get you close to $4000, but as a whole there is no way that you can get that much for the car.

i paid 4g's for my protege with 80,000 miles on it, granted damn thing has some ***** to it, and i'm seein 93's and 92's around here selling for 3,500 to 4,500+ (some dealerships in pa and jersey get away with selling over blue books value) it ain't worth what i paid for it and what i've put in it. sell any mods seperately as said, and then just sell the car, but there really isn't a collector market that i know of for mazda protege's... at least anything first gen. only thing that could sell for over 4 or 5 would be a heavily modded 90-94 323/Protege LX, or a fully intact GTX/GTR.. and where are you going to find those, right? lol find a private seller and see what the fish are biting, say like $3000 or $4000 cdn or whatever...set the bar a little high, fill in OBO in the price tag and just wait... cause most likely, somebody's gonna buy it for their recently graduated high school student or a beater car or something. good luck
