what do you guys think about 4WD?

I have a 1990 4WD pro. Ive heard good things and bad things. I think its pretty cool, any feedback?

There have been times when Ive needed 4wd, 2wd just doesnt cut it at work, or offroad....

If you have any pics of u usin 4wd (grass, snow, mud, etc...) that would be nice....

i love AWD! im in the process of sourcing a good used 323 GT-R AWD drivetrain to put in my 323 DX.

id like to see some pics of your Pro too.

good luck doing that.. that's a major hackjob to the chassis... easier swapping into a 4wd pro shell
the GT-R AWD drivetrain from Japan will swap right into a 93 323. the bolt holes are already predrilled. the only necessary modification, besides the motor and tranny, is to swap in the u-shaped gas tank as well. otherwise, everything is LITERALLY, a bolt-on job.

about pics....its not much to look at. Stock wheels with no hubcaps, and its rotted to hell and back, lol. It needs 3 doors, a LF fender, a trunk, both quarter panels and both rocker panels. I don't think you WANT to see it, lol.

actually...i neglected to mention before that my pro is one of the seemingly ultra rare 5-speed versions too.

i have a question there is a awd protege for sale around here and i just wanted to know if there are problems that i have to look for? i don't know anything about the car, is it the dohc 1.8 liter, so any info on it would be great to hear.

im almost certain that the 4wd pros were 1.8 sohc motors. correct me if im wrong.

yes, single ca. The only thing i hear is a prob is that the tranny is weak....mine's a 5 speed, not sure if that is any better, i know the autos are weak
