My wife and I went car shopping last night. We looked at the Pr5, LX and the ES. I kept rubbing up against the Mazdaspeeds, but the car is gonna mainly be for the wife, so no boy racers....
(Saw a MP3 on the used side, but gotta have an automatic)
Test drove an ES that has the Manumatic (or whatever it's called).
Nice car, but the power is down, compared to a 5 speed.
Here's the bad part: since our other car still has a high balance owed on it, it's not good to trade it in. We want out of the car 'cause it's a POS Taurus.
The sales guy ran the #'s, and came back with a monthly payment of like $495. Yeah right. Bu-byeee!!
Well, wish us luck in our car search. We're just trying to get outta that turd Taurus.

 

Put the taurus up for private sale. Teach ur wife to drive a stick. Go get the MP3...Jon

 

Unfortunately, I owe about $7k more than the resale value. I will have to cough up that much to cover the loan.
