Hey Everyone, Has anyone had a problem with their washer light coming on and not going off?
Well im having that trouble, this happened jus a few days ago. I saw the light come on then i went and had more washer fluid added to the top. The Light never went out!! Is this a defect??
I need to know what i can do, some ppl have told me to unplug battery to reset the computer...is that how u reset it?

Well, at least you have a washer light! I think the 3rd gen's (or at least the 99 and 00's) have the cut out in the instrument panel, but there's no light behind it.

if you filled it and the light is still on it could mean the sensor is junk. I had this problem for awhile, although i found a hole in my tank....

try resetting the computer and see what happens.

1. remove negative battery clamp
2. step on brake pedal for about 30secs
3. replace negative battery clamp

today I managed to empty the washer fluid reservoir and I did not get a light on the dash. In the little pamphlet that came with the car it mentioned that there was a light for this condition. Has anyone else seen the thing come on in a P5? It could be that the cleaner was just slushy as crappy cleaner likes to freeze and it was rather cold this morning. Once I put in some good cleaner it worked OK.
