valve seals on '92 dx protege

I'm actually going to work on my '92 protege soon (like.. when i get back from the beach)

I'm changing the valve seals out, heard its pretty fun (riiight)

When i take the valve cover off, do the bolts for the springs double as the head bolts or are the separate? (such a n00b)

also anything i should look for/do while i got valve cover open?

Do a search at www.clubprotege.com on valve jobs, there's some good write ups on it there.
