Stock wheels for 94 Mazda Protege

Hey folks,
Quick question.
On my 94 Mazda Protege DX I notice that at 70mph and above the steering wheel starts to vibrate.
I'm assuming that what I need is a wheel balance right?

Can the steel wheels even be balanced?
If not, what do you guys recommend?
Where can I purchase these same steel wheels for a decent price. without going to the dealer of course.

I tried going to tire rack and getting like a snow winter package with the steelies, but they don't have the 13's for this car.

Any ideas?

Thanks again

I had 13's on one Protege and 14's on the other First Generation so don't turn down a deal on 14's if you come across it. Ofcourse, try one on before you make the purchase.

I used to have the same problem until I checked the air pressure on all my tires (one tire was low). Also it helps if you have the same tires bought at the same time on all 4 wheels. I feel no vibration well up into 100 and beyond.

sounds like a balancing issue. you can have the 13's balanced. also check for bends in the wheels.

I think they may actually be slightly bent.
Any places online that has them cheaper than a dealer?

Remember, find the right offset rims and ANY 4x100mm bolt pattern rims will work, which is pretty much all Japanese makes. European cars use 4x108mm, and American cars all seem to use different sizes.
