Shaking Mirrors

I just got some Protege mirrors for my Escort, since they look much nicer, and aren't all square-looking. However, the mirrors really shake and wobble around. At first I thought it was because I didn't have my power mirror switch hooked up, so the cables that do the adjusting were just slack, but i put the switch back in and adjusted them all around, but they still shake really bad when I'm driving.

Is this a common thing with the protege mirrors? Is there an easy fix to this problem?

One of the junkyard mirrors I picked up (that was color-matched to my car) was like that. It turned out it was just broken. But, there is a little hole on the bottom of the mirror, and a Philips screw through it... tighten it to see if it helps. If it doesn't , I suppose you can unscrew it and take it apart to see how the insides look.

if tightening those three screws doesn't solve the wobbling problem, get a 'new' used mirror... ain't much you can do to fix that kind of problem.
