well, in my car, the ractive and walmart brand pedals fit, but were loose until i tightened it with some florist wire. really, anything for pedal covers in a manual version would work. i think they look 1000 times better, and my new brushed aluminum ractive pedals look pretty good, though i don't endorse the fact that i have ractive pedal covers. nor do i like lable's glarring at me at all. pepboys, autozone, canadian tire, ebay.... depending on where you live, all these places will sell pedal covers that fit for the protege... as control pedals are pretty much universal in design and size.

...and that size is usually ridiculously large. Every cheap (read: Wal-Mart, Autozone) pedal set I've seen was about 1.5 times the size of the pedals they were covering. Yuck.

the first modification i did to my car was the ****** pedals, cause starting out driving, i wasn't that used to the small pedals of our cars...and i'm still not. i prefer the bigger pedals cause you get a better surface area to accelerate and deccelerate, and the guess work is taken out. they serve more function for me, but as mentioned, yes, yuck, they over hang an inch all around or more.
