your right about the grill..i was thinking the same......

as for the bay---i diidn't even ask them to do it ..or the trunk..but when i went to pick it up..they had sprayed it---the only thing they didn't do was the floor of the trunk--and i don't think its a regular thing to do.....it looks like you just have to remove some minor things..but i don't know--i just dropped off and picked up....

but the door jams....they taped off all the rubber and put plastic in front of the seats --i think the normal charge is like 40 or 50 dollars a door jam.....i guess its a pain in the ***....

and a body kit is exactly what i'm getting next.....but i got my paint job and i was thinking about smacking it instead...i'm not sure...

the man--

thanks for the replys....

I think you might want to change rims...there's something about them with that color that's not clicking with me :-)

As for the engine bay...they might have removed hoses and sprayed it by hand after taping everything off. That's what we're doing to mine. I Didn't think that was a standard thing to do though...hmmm...

:

call me an ******* but it looks kind of "cheap" with no accenting at all. Especially with the grill all one color. Maybe put the trim back on, or if you don't want to do that (like me) accent the girl, or something. It's a nice paint job, but without accenting it kinda looks cheap...

GOOD LORD.

I can point out about 5-6 things he shouldve left black. But to each his own i guess. I dont like how they did the back lights. Thas why i shaved my trunk . Im in florida too...lot of loud cars..but this one takes the cake.

Can you take some picks of your shaved trunk? I've seen 1 on anothe pro before and I didn't like it. I don't want to base that on only one pro though. Do you like yours?

I'm shaving my locking mechanism and emblems on mine, but leaving the center piece in tact.

man that is really bright, but I like it and I could also imagine that in Florida that really fits in , cause I have seen some bright paint jobs... well khudos to you for taking the iniative to get the paint job done and having your car still look somewhat decent ,, now you just need to do a drop (for sure).....

I would personally change the rims, but that is only my opinion , I like them anyhow but don't think they fit right on the protege... I would get away from white with the orange paint and go with something different , ......

but otherwise like I said ,, I give you a lot of respect for doing the paint job ....
