Rear struts on a '94.
My right rear strut is making alot of noise, so it's time to replace them, and I got a price from a local parts supplier for $45 each.
I don't want to go with any lowering/performance stuff, as the car is going to my kid, and if he wants to do that, he's paying for it!! (And no friggin fart tipped mufflers, dammit!)
Sorry, I digress....
Anyway, does this cars design allow for inserts, or does it have to have the whole strut replaced?
Thanks!!
Bill

well even at $45 each for the cheapies, the ZX2 struts come in a *very* close second...even if performance is not on your mind.
$180 vs $190 for the ZX2's
$160 for the struts and roughly $30 for the thrust bearings
the ZX2's can be found here
