for anyone whooz interested...(IS anyone else interested other than Bizob????)

i sent Racing Beat an email over the weekend letting them know they could use my LX for HEADERS experiments
jlanger@racingbeat.com replied today:

"Thanks for the offer. We`re new to the Protege market and are still learning about the demands for these products. We will PROBABLY confine new product development to late model cars to get an idea of what parts will sell.
The last thing we want is to spend r&d hours and fabrication costs on a part that ends up being a slow seller. My mailbox is overflowing with parts suggestions for Proteges, THE MAJORITY FOR PARTS FOR 95+CARS."(my caps)

well, i'm just trying to get some GOOD STUFF for our cars
i've had mine 10 years - its too good a car to give up! but it'll be even better if we get more possible mods...

SEN D EMAILS!

thanx pseudo x - and everyone else who's stuffing 1st gen emails into the box at RB...maybe we'll get some results yet

by the way, i'm not looking to get a free header out of offering my LX for them to use( although that would be awwsom!). if anything, i'm willing to pay more for the 1st one if that'll help get it produced.

an incentive would be if a 1st gen header would fit the 2nd gen as well. i looked at discountconverter.com to see if the cats were similar between the 2 gens (to get AN idea if a header might be similar), but it looked like they're completely different. in fact, the 98 listed - i think - a precat right below exhaust manifold??!!...

What about Larsen motorsports?? They make good headers for the BPT, and the B6T.... Oh! I forgot you guys need headers for NA pro. Well if you want good header for the BPT or the B6T head over to http://www.larsenmotorsports.com/ because they make really nice headers, down pipes, and maybe some other stuff.
