protoge wheels and guages to 323 help

i found some 99 protoge 15 inch wheels on ebay for like $170. i want to put them on my 94 323. will these fit fine without any spacers and anything like that. also looking at buying lx guages with the tach for like $10 bucks off there. how do you hook up a tack anyways? r these all pretty good deals on this type of stuff? thanx

I have the 2000 ES 15 inch wheels on my 94 Pro and they fit just fine. I put 205-50-50 Kumho Ecstas as well and have just enough strut/tire clearance. They look sharp!!!

converting to a tach cluster..i think u need to do some re wiring, cause u dont originally have one. Just by a tach for ur dash, u can get some that go right on ur steering column. thats what my dad had on his escort. ANd the wheels ive seen em...they are tight. they will look good on a 323 and they will fit if they aer the 4 lug pattern

Damn! Those are some huge *** tires!! 50 inches!!! WOAH!! How do you get wheels to fit that?

hehe typo, right?

As for hooking up the tach, it's extremely simple, just wire a fused line to the coil, ground it, and you're set. Simple as pi!!

yeah, those might require a little fender trimming...but if you want to go off road, you shoulda bought some boggers instead.

No wiring needed. I put the LX cluster in my 93 323 and was all plug and play. Just unplug everything and plug it all back in the same place on the LX cluster.

To save yourself time and pain, the speedo cable is easier to plug in if you reach up from under the dash once the rest is in place.

You have to remove the side panel by opening the door. Then the long black front trim piece. Then the ignition cover behind the steering wheel. Someone has a write up on here. Do a search for LX cluster.

i just put indiglos in my protege yesterday and i'd suggest unbolting the steering column theres 4 bolts underneath the plastic cover then the steerig column will just rest on your seat it makes removing the black trim in front of the custer way easier
peace dante
