Pro and Cons about Bigger RIMS

Hello fellow pro owners I got a Rookie Question:
I have a Question about getting bigger wheels I have a 13 inches on by base 91 DX but I’m considering upgrading to 15 Inch. What are the advantages and disadvantages of getting bigger rubber and what mods do I have to do on my ride to upgrade to bigger wheels

you shouldn't have any probs with 15" rims. but bigger rims normally mean more wieght which can slow a car down alittle. and depending on size, bigger rims can throw off you spedo by a few mph.

I to had those lovely 13 inch wheels when I bought my 94 DX. They are now delegated to winter tire duty. I now have 205-50-15's on 2000ES wheels and love it. The changes are pretty dramatic when you put an extra 30mm of tire at each corner. Especially if you compliment the plus size wheel and tire combo with an upgraded suspension. Anything bigger in my opinion is over kill. 15's offer an excellent increase in performance without compromising ride to much.

go for the 16's then you can either run one of two sidewalls ,, 205/45/16 or 205/40/16 or even 215/40/16 . that is the tire size , I like the 16's , they do slug the accelaration a bit , but the make up in handling is great , .
